Tiara and Dan’s wedding at The Bellevue Conference in Chantilly, VA | Wedding Photographer in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC

Wedding

It was a beautiful day when Tiara and Dan chose to tie the knot at The Bellevue Conference & Event Center. As one of DMV’s most luxurious event venues, the beauty of this wedding was unparalleled, and I am happy that Goksyde Photography got a chance to be a part of it. The wedding happened on the 24th of September this year, and words cannot describe how classy, elegant, and fun it was. I’ll try my best to highlight some of the moments of this day in the next few paragraphs.

Getting Ready

We started the day by capturing the bride getting ready with her bridesmaids and family. The luxury again stood out with Armand de Brignac (Ace of Spades Champagne) and Moet & Chandon Champagne’s like the bride’s celebration drinks.

We captured important details like the bride’s shoes, the bridesmaids’ wear, the gorgeous wedding dress, earrings, and rings. We also got some shots of the bride having her makeup done.

Next, we went to the groom’s suite where he was getting ready with his groomsmen and family too. They also toasted with expensive drinks like Cîroc, and the atmosphere was fun. I was able to get pictures of the bride and the groom with their loved ones as they got ready.

The First Look

The first look is one of the most emotional moments at a wedding. The emotions on display when the bride and the groom see themselves for the first time all dressed up is magical. It was the same at Tiara and Dan’s wedding. They had their first look surrounded by their friends, and it was beautiful.

The Ceremony

At the Ceremony, the lovely female celebrant was ready to join the couple. The groom and his best man first walked down the aisle one after the other. After that, it was time for the bridesmaids and the groomsmen who came in pairs. I must also add that the guests were beautifully dressed and looked amazing.

Next, it was time for Tiara to walk down the aisle with her dad. The look on Dan’s face as he saw her was so emotional. We love this moment at weddings. The couple said their vows, and then there was a candle-lighting ceremony. Both the bride and groom’s mothers participated in the candle lighting, which made it all the more special. Soon after that, the couple kissed and were pronounced husband and wife. The wedding party danced back up the aisle. We loved this bit. It was so much fun and great to capture.

The Reception

The majesty of Bellevue Conference & Event Center was quite obvious at this reception. The magnificent chandeliers and the beautiful five-tiered cake only added to it. The flower arc at the cake stand was a lovely touch too.

When a bride changes into sneakers for her reception, that’s a cue that you will be having loads of fun. It was no different for Tiara and Dan. They first had a private moment where I took some pictures of them in the reception space before they stepped out, and the guests started trooping in. Many guest book signings and flower men later, yes, you read that right; the couple and their wedding party danced in. Then it was time for the romantic first dance where it rained dollars. The speeches and toasts happened, and then it was time for the cutting of the cake. After the bouquet and the garter toss, it was time to party.

What Did I Love About This Wedding?

Everything! There were so many unique aspects of this wedding that made it fun and beautiful. The maid of honor was dressed in a lovely suit and not a dress, I’ve already mentioned the flower men, and I loved the bride’s sneakers too. Tiara and Dan personalized their wedding in a way that made it unforgettable and unique. I love weddings like these and wish them many happy years as they start their new life together.
